Research Committee
The Research Committee is COMMB’s voting committee, devoted to ensuring all measurement initiatives are held to the utmost standards. The committee is comprised of buyers and sellers with an expertise in data/insights, research and media analytics. This group of bright minds approves all COMMB methodologies for outdoor, place-based, moving media etc., as well as guidance during new vendor selection, COMMB product offering and any other client facing component of COMMB’s measurement initiatives.
Outdoor Council
COMMB’s Outdoor Council is comprised of OOH Company members with a focus on outdoor inventory and acts as a sounding board for outdoor measurement and research initiatives, collaborating on industry needs and first-to-market solutions to support outdoor media. From new technology partners to innovations in outdoor visibility, the outdoor council works with COMMB to bring forth ideas to support outdoor media.
Place-Based Council
The Place-Based Council acts as a sounding board for indoor measurement and research initiatives, collaborating on industry needs and new network solutions to support COMMB’s measurement expansion into a variety of indoor environments. The council is comprised of place-based OOH company members.
Marketing Committee
The Marketing Committee is composed of marketing, business development and strategy executives from the buy-side, sell-side and programmatic tech-stacks. This well rounded committee is responsible for collaborating with the COMMB marketing team on industry-wide growth marketing initiatives focused on increasing awareness, support and ad-spends in Canadian OOH.
Programmatic Committee
The programmatic digital out-of-home committee is an important group responsible for developing standards in pDOOH. Discussing topics such as the use of standard viewsheds for data collection and attribution and working together to formulate key data and insights initiatives. This committee is comprised of publishers, agencies, SSPs and DSPs.
DEI Committee
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee aims to set industry standards and help marketers, outdoor/place-based media owners, and other members create company cultures, environments and activities that are just and open for all.
